EmpowerEnergy is a company with a passion for the environment.  This division is a young addition within the EmpowerGroup stable.  EmpowerEnergy has identified three focus areas:

• Utilities
• Alternative Energy
• Fuels

Utilities are becoming a very big problem in communities and governments all over the world.  Governments have been dealing with problems on how to treat sewerage systems effectively and also to provide clean potable water to communities.  EmpowerEnergy has partnered with a water treatment group, Utileco from Spain, based in Dubai.  This company has highly skilled engineers to address any water related challenges.

The Alternative Energy focus like the utilities was born from the need by one of the other group divisions EmpowerProp.  EmpowerProp required alternative sources of energy for its various developments from affordable housing schemes to retail shopping centres.  EmpowerEnergy is currently identifying potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships in this space.

Fuels are directly linked to pollution and carbon emissions.  EmpowerEnergy was appointed as one of the National Distributors of Naf-Tech Energy.  This is a fuel enhancing product that has been approved by the SABS as a SANS 342 compliant product.  This means that the product is added to the fuel but is not seen as an additive due to this compliance.  The key elements are that any combustion engine process will be able run more cost effectively and with reduced carbon emissions.
